To display information about the DOCSIS configuration files that are generated by the internal DOCSIS<br />

configuration file editor, use the debug cable config-file command in Privileged EXEC mode. To disable<br />

debugging output, use the no form of this command.<br />

Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords.<br />

Defaults No default behavior or values.<br />

CMTS. For more information about the internal configuration file editor, see the cable config-file<br />

command and its subcommands.<br />

Caution The debug commands are primarily intended for use in controlled test and troubleshooting situations<br />

with a limited volume of traffic.<br />

Examples The following example shows how to enable debugging for the internal configuration file editor:<br />

Router# debug cable config-file<br />

CMTS config file debugging is on<br />

Router# show debug<br />

CMTS:<br />

CMTS config file debugging is on<br />

Router#<br />

When debugging is turned on, the <strong>Cisco</strong> CMTS displays the following message when it generates a<br />

DOCSIS configuration file for transmission to a CM:<br />
