Cisco Broadband Cable Command Reference Guide
show tech-support
To display general information about the router when reporting a problem to Cisco technical support,
use the show tech-support command in Privileged EXEC mode.
show tech-support [page] [password] [ipmulticast | rsvp]
Defaults Does not display passwords and does not page the output.
Command Modes Privileged EXEC
Command History
page Pages the output of the command so that it is displayed one screen at a time
password Displays passwords in the configuration file
ipmulticast Displays the IP multicast related information by the show ip pim, show ip
igmp, show ip mroute, and other IP multicast show commands.
rsvp Displays the IP RSVP related information that is generated by the different
show ip rsvp commands.

Usage Guidelines The show tech-support command displays a large amount of configuration, run-time status, and other
information about the router for troubleshooting problems. The output of this command can be provided
to technical support representatives when reporting a problem.
The show tech-support command automatically displays the output of a number of different show
commands. The exact output depends on the platform, configuration, and type of protocols being used.
