To display the activities of the payload header suppression and restoration (PHS) driver, use the debug<br />

cable phs command in privileged EXEC mode. The no form of this command disables debugging<br />

output.<br />

Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords.<br />

Usage <strong>Guide</strong>lines Do not use this command when you have a large number of active CMs on your network, because it could<br />

generate a huge amount of output to the console port.<br />

This command displays the output for both the upstream and downstream drivers. The upstream receive<br />

driver restores headers that have been suppressed by CMs, and the downstream driver suppresses specific<br />

fields in packet header before forwarding a frame to the CM.<br />

Examples The following example shows typical output from PHS debugging:<br />
