To debug channel allocations on the HFC network, use the debug cable startalloc command in<br />

privileged EXEC mode. To disable debugging output, use the no form of this command.<br />

Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords.<br />

Usage <strong>Guide</strong>lines This command activates debugging of the channel allocations on the HFC network. When this command<br />

is activated, any messages generated when channels are allocated to CMs on the HFC network are<br />

displayed on the <strong>Cisco</strong> CMTS console.<br />

Caution This command should be used for development testing only, not in production setting.<br />
