Usage <strong>Guide</strong>lines This command enables the sending of SNMP traps when DOCSIS-related events occur. Multiple traps<br />

can be enabled at the same time.<br />

Note The traps are described in the DOCS-CABLE-DEVICE-TRAP-MIB MIB, which is is an extension of<br />

the CABLE DEVICE MIB that is defined in RFC 2669.<br />

Examples The following example shows the BPI+ and secure software download traps being enabled:<br />

Router# config terminal<br />

Router(config)# snmp-server enable traps docsis-cm bpi bpkm swupcvc swupfail swupinit<br />

swupsucc<br />
