To display information about the cable interface, use the show interfaces cable-modem command in<br />

privileged EXEC mode.<br />

show interfaces cable-modem number [accounting | counters | crb | irb | type]<br />

Defaults When this command is entered without a keyword, general information about the cable interface is<br />

displayed.<br />

<strong>Command</strong> Modes Privileged EXEC<br />

<strong>Command</strong> History<br />

number Identifies the cable interface (always 0).<br />

accounting (Optional) Displays the number of packets of each protocol type that has been<br />

sent through the router interface.<br />

counters (Optional) Shows MIB counters on the cable interface.<br />

crb (Optional) Displays concurrent routing and bridging information for each<br />

interface that has been configured for routing or bridging. This option does not<br />

really apply to the router but is included because it is part of the subsystem that<br />

provides DOCSIS-compliant bridging. For more information, refer to the<br />

Bridging and IBM Networking <strong>Command</strong> <strong>Reference</strong>.<br />

irb (Optional) Displays integrated routing and bridging information for each<br />

interface that has been configured for routing or bridging. This option does not<br />

really apply to the router but is included because it is part of the subsystem that<br />

provides DOCSIS-compliant bridging. For more information, refer to the<br />

Bridging and IBM Networking <strong>Command</strong> <strong>Reference</strong>.<br />

type (Optional) Designed to display information about virtual LANs associated with<br />

the interface; however, this option is not supported on the router.<br />
