availability <strong>of</strong> knowledge brokers enabling institutionalisation <strong>of</strong> change, negotiation <strong>of</strong> shared vision
and knowledge transfer between all CoPs involved.
By exploring <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>oretical propositions outlined above in <strong>the</strong> next stages <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> fieldwork, this study
<strong>of</strong>fers <strong>the</strong> prospect <strong>of</strong> making a contribution to analytic frameworks applied to <strong>the</strong> understanding <strong>of</strong>
interpr<strong>of</strong>essional and inter-organisational work, enhancing <strong>the</strong> understanding <strong>of</strong> barriers to joint
working, and identifying effective knowledge management strategies which could be utilised in <strong>the</strong> UK
healthcare context.
