organization’s processes, products or services (creating or modifying <strong>the</strong> existing ones) through
personalizing <strong>the</strong> Web interface and helping reusing contents from personal websites (Corrocher,
2011).
This article proposes a “2.0 knowledge transfer model for an IT and communication cluster” based on
Nonaka and Takeuchi’s “knowledge creation” model and it is structured in four stages: socialization
exteriorization, combination and interiorization (1999, 2002). The proposed model focuses on <strong>the</strong>
knowledge transfer process supported by two fundamental principles <strong>of</strong> a cluster: associativity and
cooperation. They facilitate an encounter <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> involved agents in which knowledge creation and
exchange is possible. Web 2.0 technologies will also make possible interaction, collaboration and
communication among agents to allow <strong>the</strong> emergence <strong>of</strong> collective intelligence among members <strong>of</strong>
<strong>the</strong> cluster. Figure 1 shows <strong>the</strong> knowledge transfer model for <strong>the</strong> IT cluster.
The application <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> model (Figure 1) in a cluster requires <strong>the</strong> following steps:
- To define <strong>the</strong> work team.
- To identify <strong>the</strong> processes <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> cluster in which <strong>the</strong> model would be applied.
- To design knowledge map <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> selected process.
- To identify <strong>the</strong> flows, sources and knowledge transfer processes within <strong>the</strong> selected process.
- To determine <strong>the</strong> ways in which associativity and cooperation processes are evidenced at <strong>the</strong>
studied process.
- To define strategies for knowledge creation supported by Web 2.0 technologies to be
implemented.

3. Results and conclusions
Among <strong>the</strong> expected results from this 2.0 Knowledge Transfer Model we have <strong>the</strong> following:
To define and establish conscious strategies <strong>of</strong> knowledge transfer for individuals, groups and
clusters based on Nonaka and Takeuchi’s model.
To establish methods and techniques to record individual tacit knowledge so it can be transferred to
o<strong>the</strong>rs.
To support <strong>the</strong> creation and sustenance <strong>of</strong> associativity and cooperation processes with <strong>the</strong> cluster.
To promote organizational change is diverse aspects such as: culture, structure and strategy so it
favors knowledge transfer among <strong>the</strong> members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> cluster.
To support <strong>the</strong> knowledge transfer flows and sources within <strong>the</strong> cluster through technological
platforms favoring communication, interactivity and cooperation among <strong>the</strong> agents.
