Models with MIL Connectors<br />

Communications Connector<br />

Used to connect <strong>CompoBus</strong>/S communications data (BD H, BD L), communications power<br />

supply and I/O power supply (see page 256).<br />

One compatible connector is provided as standard.<br />

Indicators<br />

Indicate the status of the Slave and communications, and<br />

input status of each contact. (Lit when the input is ON.)<br />

DIP Switch<br />

The DIP switch's pins have the following functions:<br />

Pins 1 to 4: Node number setting<br />

Pins 5 and 6: Reserved (Always OFF.)<br />

Pin7: Communications mode setting<br />

Pin 8: Reserved (Always OFF.)<br />

Input Connector (MIL Connector)<br />

Connect 16 inputs with MIL Connector (see page 258).<br />

XG4M-2030-T MIL Connector and compatible cable are sold separately.<br />

Indicators<br />

The following table shows the meaning of the indicators.<br />

Indicator Status Meaning<br />

PWR (green) ON The communications power supply is ON.<br />

OFF The communications power supply is OFF.<br />

COMM (yellow) ON Normal communications<br />

OFF A communications error has occurred or the Unit is<br />

in standby status.<br />

ERR (red) ON A communications error has occurred.<br />

OFF Normal communications or the Unit is in standby status.<br />

0 to 7 (8 inputs) ON The corresponding input is ON.<br />

0 to 15 (16 inputs) OFF The corresponding input is OFF or the Unit is in<br />

standby status.<br />

DIP Switch<br />

The DIP switch is located on the base of the Connector Terminal.<br />

Reserved (Always OFF.)<br />

Communications mode setting<br />

Reserved (Always OFF.)<br />

Node number setting<br />

Note Always turn OFF the Slave before changing DIP switch settings.
