Slave Components The following diagram shows the main components of the SRT@-OD08S Sensor<br />

Terminals. The functions of these components are described below.<br />

DIP Switch<br />

The DIP switch's pins have the following functions:<br />

Pins 1 to 4: Node number setting<br />

Pin 5: Communications mode setting (SRT2 Series)<br />

or Reserved (Always OFF) (SRT1 Series)<br />

Pin 6: Hold/Clear outputs for communications error<br />

Mounting Screw Holes<br />

Used when screwing the<br />

Unit to a control panel.<br />

Output Indicators<br />

Indicate the output status<br />

of each contact. (Lit when<br />

the output is ON.)<br />

Output Connector for Remote Terminal<br />

Connect the cable connector attached to output wires<br />

leading to output devices such as solenoids, valves, and<br />

lamps<br />

Cable connectors XS8A-0441 (compatible wire size: 0.3 to<br />

0.5 mm 2 ) and XS8A-0442 (compatible wire size: 0.14 to<br />

0.2 mm 2 ) are sold separately.<br />

DIN Track Mounting Hook<br />

Used when mounting the Unit to a DIN track.<br />

Power Supply Terminal Block<br />

Used to connect the <strong>CompoBus</strong>/S communications power<br />

supply (including I/O power supply).<br />

Power supply from the special Flat Cable is not possible,<br />

so a separate power supply must be connected.<br />

<strong>CompoBus</strong>/S Terminal Block<br />

Used to connect the <strong>CompoBus</strong>/S communications cable.<br />

Indicators<br />

The following table shows the meaning of the indicators.<br />

Indicator Status Meaning<br />

PWR (green) ON The external power supply is ON.<br />

OFF The external power supply is OFF.<br />

COMM (yellow) ON Normal communications<br />

OFF A communications error has occurred or the Unit is in<br />

standby status.<br />

ERR (red) ON A communications error has occurred.<br />

OFF Normal communications or the Unit is in standby status.
