Allocation to CPM2C I/O<br />

I/O Memory of the CPU Unit in which the <strong>CompoBus</strong>/S Master Unit is<br />

mounted.<br />

As with other Expansion I/O Units for the CPM2C, both input and output bits<br />

for the I/O Link Unit start with the word following the last word allocated to the<br />

CPM2C CPU Unit or the previous Expansion I/O Unit to which it is connected.<br />

If the last input word allocated to the CPM2C CPU Unit or the previous Expansion<br />

Unit is word m, and the last output word allocated to that Unit is word n,<br />

word allocations are as shown in the following figure.<br />

Note 1. Data transmissions are not synchronized for all 8 I/O points. Eight-point<br />

data simultaneously output from the Master CPU will not always reach the<br />

CPM2C CPU Unit simultaneously. Eight-point data simultaneously output<br />

from the CPM2C CPU Unit will not always reach the CPU Unit of the Master<br />

simultaneously. If 8-point data needs synchronization, write the ladder
