Slave Components The following diagram shows the main components of the SRT2-VOD@@@@<br />

(-@) Connector Terminals with Transistor Outputs. The functions of these<br />

components are described below.<br />

SRT2-VOD08S/VOD08S-1<br />

Communications connector<br />

Used to connect <strong>CompoBus</strong>/S communications data (BD H, BD L), communications<br />

power supply, and I/O power supply (see page 256).<br />

One compatible connector is provided as standard.<br />

Indicators<br />

Indicate the status of the Slave and communications, and<br />

output status of each contact. (Lit when the output is ON.)<br />

DIP Switch<br />

The DIP switch's pins have the following functions:<br />

Pins 1 to 4: Node number setting<br />

Pins 5 and 6: Reserved (Always OFF.)<br />

Pin 7: Communications mode setting<br />

Pin 8: Hold/Clear outputs for communications error<br />

Output connector (cable connector)<br />

Connect 8 outputs with cable connector<br />

The XS8A-0441 Cable Connector (compatible conductor size: 0.3 to 0.5 mm2 ) and XS8A-0442 Cable<br />

Connector (compatible conductor size: 0.14 to 0.2 mm2 (see page 67).<br />
