Connecting the AIFX-DIAG
9. If so, connect the assembly interface diagnostic (AIFX-DIAG):
‣ Connect the cable connector DIAG X1 on the AIFX-DIAG with the cable
(refer to Figure 27 on page 115).
Important! The contacts on the connection cable must face up!
‣ Connect the cable connector DIAG X3 (or X303) on the CIFX 104-RE\F
Communication Interface with the cable.
Important! The contacts on the connection cable must face up!

‣ Install the AIFX-DIAG on the front plate of the replacement CIFX 104C-
RE\F.
After this:
10. Close cabinet.
‣ Close the cabinet of the PC or connecting device.
11. Plug the connecting cable to the Master or Slave.
‣ Plug the connecting cable from the CIFX 104C-RE\F Communication
Interface to the PC card Real-Time Ethernet Master or Slave.
12. Connect the PC or the connecting device to the power supply and
switch it on.
‣ Connect the PC or the connecting device to the power supply.
‣ Switch on the PC or the connecting device.
