Connecting the AIFX-RE
Important! Pre-requirement for the operation of the CIFX 104-RE\F and
CIFX 104-RE-R\F is, that the assembly interface Ethernet (AIFX-RE) is
connected!
‣ Connect the assembly interface Ethernet (AIFX-RE).
‣ Connect the cable connector Ethernet X1 on the AIFX-RE with the
cable (refer to Figure 39 on page137).
‣ Connect the cable connector Ethernet X4 (or X304) on the CIFX 104-
RE\F Communication Interface with the cable.

‣ Install the AIFX-RE on the front plate of the replacement CIFX 104-
RE\F.
