Note:
1. The connection shown in Figure 52 can only be used for diagnosis
purposes.
2. With SYCON.net a firmware download from PC1 to the cifX
Communication Interface in PC2 can not be executed. A firmware
download to the cifX Communication Interface can be executed in PC2
• with the program SYCON.net (Master or Slave), as shown in Figure 49
on page 147 or
• with the program netX Configuration Tool (only Slave) as shown in
Figure 50 on page 148.
3. With SYCON.net a configuration download from PC1 to the cifX
Communication Interface in PC2 can not be executed because the
configuration file is not stored on the PC. A configuration download to the
cifX Communication Interface can be executed in PC2
• with the program SYCON.net (Master or Slave), as shown in Figure 49
on page 147 or
• with the program netX Configuration Tool (only Slave) as shown in
Figure 50 on page148.
