Remove <strong>cifX</strong> e to be replaced<br />

7. Remove CIFX 104-RE\F <strong>Communication</strong> Interface.<br />

‣ Loosen the four fastening screws of the CIFX 104-RE\F.<br />

‣ Remove the CIFX 104-RE\F.<br />

Install Replacement <strong>cifX</strong><br />

8. Install the replacement CIFX 104-RE\F.<br />

‣ Plug the replacement CIFX 104-RE\F into a free PC/104 slot (or if so, to<br />

the underlying <strong>cifX</strong>).<br />

‣ Fix the replacement CIFX 104-RE\F using 4 spacing bolts and screws<br />

intended to the mainboard (or if so, to the underlying <strong>cifX</strong>). The scope of<br />

delivery does not include spacing bolts and screws.<br />

Note: First connect the AIFX-RE to each CIFX 104-RE\F <strong>Communication</strong><br />

Interface, before plugging another module. Just so you can check exactly<br />

whether the AIFX is properly connected to the <strong>cifX</strong>.<br />
