<strong>cifX</strong> <strong>Communication</strong> Interface with Slave Protocol<br />

If on the <strong>cifX</strong> <strong>Communication</strong> Interface a <strong>Real</strong>-<strong>Time</strong> <strong>Ethernet</strong> protocol or a<br />

fieldbus protocol with Slave functionality is operated, the configuration and<br />

the diagnosis of the <strong>cifX</strong> <strong>Communication</strong> Interface are done with the<br />

program netX Configuration Tool or with SYCON.net.<br />

If you use the netX Configuration Tool, the following software<br />

components are required:<br />

• Configuration and diagnosis program netX Configuration Tool<br />

• Device Driver (<strong>cifX</strong> Device Driver)<br />
