For <strong>cifX</strong> <strong>Communication</strong> <strong>Interfaces</strong> <strong>Real</strong>-<strong>Time</strong> <strong>Ethernet</strong> (Master) to operate<br />
properly, the following requirements must be fulfilled:<br />

EtherNet/IP-Scanner (Master),<br />
PROFINET IO-Controller<br />
SERCOS III Master<br />
1. The <strong>cifX</strong> Device Driver must be installed (from V1.0.x.x).<br />
2. The configuration software SYCON.net must be installed or<br />
another application program by which the <strong>cifX</strong> <strong>Communication</strong><br />
Interface <strong>Real</strong>-<strong>Time</strong> <strong>Ethernet</strong> (Master) can be configured.<br />
3. Using the configuration software SYCON.net, the user must select<br />
the firmware which is to be loaded to the <strong>cifX</strong> <strong>Communication</strong><br />
<strong>Interfaces</strong> <strong>Real</strong>-<strong>Time</strong> <strong>Ethernet</strong> (Master).<br />
4. The <strong>cifX</strong> <strong>Communication</strong> Interface <strong>Real</strong>-<strong>Time</strong> <strong>Ethernet</strong> (Master)<br />
must be configured using one of the following options:<br />
• Configuration Software SYCON.net<br />
• Application program (programming required)<br />
5. For the communication Slaves devices for the used<br />
communication system are required.<br />
