Setting Up the Appointment Scheduler
Chapter 6 Scheduling, Moving, & Canceling Appointments
Click and drag your mouse cursor over the day and time on which you want to
set up the service template and then complete one of the following actions:
Right-click the schedule grid and select Setup Service Template.
Click the Service Template Setup button.
Note
The Service Template Setup window opens.
Click New to create a new template.
OR
Select an existing template and click Edit.
The Service Template Detail window opens.
Note
To remove an existing service template, select the template,
right-click on it, and select Remove Service Template, or click
the Remove Service Template button.
To copy a template that was set up for another provider or
resource, click Copy Template on the Service Template Detail
window.
Type a name in the Display Name text box.
Type a description in the Description text box.
Click Service Group to select the services that may be scheduled during the
template hours. To set up new service groups or edit existing service groups,
follow the instructions below:
a. Click New to create a new service group or select a service group from
the list and click Edit to modify an existing service group.
b. Type a name for the group in the Group Name field.
c. Select the check boxes for the services you want to add to the service
group.
Notes
• Only services that are available to schedule appear in the Service
Group Setup window. For information on making services
available, go to To set up services on page 282.
• At least one service must be selected to create a service group.
