OfficeMate includes robust commission calculation and reporting features. The
Commission Calculation and Reporting window allows you calculate commissions for
all providers and staff, groups based on region or location, or individuals. You can also
control various conditions, such as payment status, that determine when commissions
are allocated.
Getting
Started with
Commissions
Before calculating and reporting commissions, there are a few areas of OfficeMate
that must be set up. Perform the following steps to prepare OfficeMate to calculate
provider and staff commissions:
Ensure that you have indicated which providers and staff are eligible to receive
commissions. For more information about indicating providers as
commissionable, go to To modify or add provider names on page 38. For more

Ensure that, for providers and staff with special commission requirements, the
Commission Override settings are complete. For information about provider

Ensure that you have established which product types are commissionable and
the what the commission percentage and spiff amounts are. For more
