Getting Member Eligibility & VSP Authorization
Chapter 12 Setting Up & Using the VSP Interface
To print a list of the patient’s electronic VSP documents, click Print List.
Click OK to close the Patient Demographic window.
To view authorizations
You can view and print authorizations at any time by performing the following steps:
Open the VSP member’s Patient Demographic window in OfficeMate. For
more information on opening the Patient Demographic window, go to Opening
Patient Records on page 169.
Click the Insurance tab
Select Vision Service Plan or VSP from the list of insurance companies.
Click Detail.
The Carrier window opens.
Select the Eligibility tab.
To view an electronic VSP document, double-click on the document or select
the document and click View.
To print a list of the patient’s electronic VSP documents, click Print List.
Click Exit to close the Carrier window.
