Once the fee slip is recorded, the VSP claim and lab order are sent electronically. You<br />

can verify the status of your claim and lab order in the Third Party Processing window.<br />

To view the status of VSP claims and lab orders, perform the following steps:<br />

From the <strong><strong>Office</strong>Mate</strong> <strong>Home</strong> <strong>Office</strong> main window, click the 3rd Party icon.<br />

The Third Party Processing window opens.<br />

Click Batch History.<br />

Select a store from the Location drop-down menu as needed.<br />

Select VSP Interface from the Receivers drop-down menu.<br />

Narrow your search by typing beginning and ending dates in the Date<br />

Submitted fields, as needed.<br />

Click Search Batch History.<br />

Select a claim from the search results.<br />

Click VSP Status.<br />

The Status Classification column populates with status information received<br />

from VSP.<br />

Compare the number listed in the Status Classification column with the code list<br />

displayed at the top of the window.<br />

Click Doctor’s Service Report to view the doctor’s service report, as needed.<br />

Click Packing Slip Report to view and print the packing slip, as needed.<br />

Click Cancel when you are finished.<br />
