Would that this nation could be as definite in its
stand and commitment to the Lord God. It would
be the best promise for the nation's salvation and
the future well being of its citizens. For civil power
is of God, ordained by Him for His glory and the
good of all that is Christian. This nation started
with God, owned, submitted to; and in a large
measure needed His voice. But departing from the
source of its being, in its widespread influence and
power it no longer touches savingly the home, the
church or itself. Being so far reaching in its realm,
it requires Sovereign wisdom for its guidance. A
deep and real binding to the Lord God, with the
"Book of the Covenant" in hand, God deems is man's
side of the Covenant of salvation and only as he
yields to it one way or another can there be hope
on earth. This calls on the

Bible users, exemplary Sabbath keepers,
exalters if they really desire "Thy Kingdom Come."
In saving Christianity there is a high calling and
the strongest of all bindings are provided. Loose
church joining panders to lose living and a loose
hold on Kingdom making here. As I go through
life I have always felt we cannot exalt Christ too
much in all His functionings as Priest and Prophet
and Lord of all. I believe in tlie Christianity of

could be made too strong for If I could think
of any regret I might have on getting into Heaven

The Most Dangerous American

This person might be any kind of American.
This person could be a person you know or do not
know, or your best friend. He can be a member of
any church. He can be a person of any nationality
that is an American. This person can be a person of
any other nationality and still be a dangerous person.
Too many of these persons can keep it from
raining properly. This person is a kind of a person
that brings the curses of God in place of bringing
the blessings of God (Psalms 67:5-6; Leviticus 25:
.
18-19) This kind of a person not only keeps it from
raining properly, but will bring all kinds of curses
down and if too many
of these persons are around,
it will be too bad for all of us. The Apostle Paul was
one of these persons at one time. The writer expects
you have guessed this person. He is a non-Christian.
Why is the non-Christian a dangerous person
Because he is out of tune and harmony, at enmity
and rebellion against God. He was conceived in iniqui
ty, born in sin with his face down and away from
God, is of the world, flesh and devil. He is a natural

person. How did the devil get in the picture Man
is a descendant of Adam and Adam obeyed the devil
rather than God in eating the forbidden fruit. Being
in this condition, he is under the wrath of God. To
get this person out from under the wrath of God, it
is necessary to have a spiritual birth through the
Gospel.
You might ask the question, What can I do
about it You can do plenty. If you will work with
God to change this person, you can help make a
person that will bring down the blessings of God in
stead of curses, an asset in place of a liability. If
enough persons will work this way, he will be con
verted or we will get rid of him like the one talent
man, like Judas Iscariot and the rich man who was
going to tear down his barns and build bigger barns.
Proverbs 29:1 and Genesis 6:3.
The wrath of God was set against Sodom and
Gomorrah and they could have had this wrath re
moved by turning to God and repenting. Nineveh was
saved this way and so can our country and every oth
er country. The Christians of Israel were carried into
captivity, because they failed to do their duty. If
there had been ten spiritually born persons in Sodom,
God would have saved that city. This is how impor
tant spiritually born persons are and what a great
blessing they are.
The people of this day and time cannot get by
with a small number of Christians, like they did in
Old Testament times for three reasons.
The first reason is God winked at the people in
the Old Testament times that is, God did not hold
them down to a strict accountability (Acts 17:30).
The second reason we cannot get by with so few
Christians is that God has commanded all men every
where to repent since Christ has come (Acts 17:30).
The third reason we cannot get by with so few
Christians is the greater opportunity and means of
preaching the Gospel by the printing press, tele
graph, telephone, television and radio. To whom
much is given, of him much is required (Luke 12:
48). An evangelist can preach the Gospel by radio
around the world and in almost every country and
some are calling for your prayers and money to do
this.
A non-Christian is a dangerous person anywhere
in the world. That is why the communists are dan
gerous persons. The only thing that can change
these dangerous persons is the Gospel. That is why
it is so important to preach the Gospel.
