We said we'd do all these things, and
we meant it when we said it. Are we
now where the Psalmist was when he
sang:
"If we have forgotten the name of our

In 1953 the Brief Covenant was print
ed on a small four-leaf folder, in several
thousand copies. These have been sent
to all parts of the Church. No more are
in stock. Did you get a copy Have you
read it Do you know where it is now
Is your copy like Grandma's spectacles,
hidden somewhere in a Bible you seldom
use
We are not like to keep that to which
we give little attention. Therefore we
ought to be paying continued attention
to our Covenant of 1954.
I suggest that every C.Y.P.U. avail it
self of copies of the Brief Covenant for
1954, enough for every member, and that
the Covenant be read aloud together at
least once every two months.
If there is sufficient demand for cop
ies of the Covenant from congregations
or societies, I will have a new edition
printed and send them out at cost. But
don't wait for a new printing, if you
have some copies. Keep the Covenant in
your mind, in your heart, and in your
activities.
NOTICE
Not all the Societies have secured the
C.Y.P.U. YEARBOOKS for 1955. Every
home of Covenanter young people should
have at least one copy. Let me hear
from the societies that have not yet or
dered. The cost is only
15c per copy.
A number of societies are using the
new BIBLE STUDIES for their Bible
Study project of the Plan of Work. Two
units are now ready. Unit One has four
studies: (1) The Gospel; (2) Belief;
(3) Repentance; (4) Surrender.
Unit Two has six studies on Christian
Character Development: (1) Personal
Devotion; (2) Obedience; (3) Meeting
Temptation; (4 & 5) Growth in Grace;
(6) Witnessing.
All studies have a minimum of 14
questions (2 for each day for a week)
with answers from Bible passages. The
cost is 2c per copy.
Write about other materials you may
want. Possibly your Young People's Sec
retary can supply
where to get them.

Witnessing
These Studies are prepared primarily for use in bringing others
to Christ, but they may be used as subjects for Discussion Class
es. Indeed, a Class may be good preparation for effective use
elsewhere.
