- Dùng thuốc Padan 4H bón vào hàng mía ở liều lượng 60kg/ha sau khi sâu xuất
hiện là liều lượng và thời điểm tốt nhất có hiệu quả diệt sâu hồng cao. Hiệu quả tăng
lên khi thuốc xử lý được lấp đất đồng thời bảo vệ được các loài thiên địch có ích trong
quần thể ruộng mía.

RESULT OF RESEARCH THE CONTROL METHOD OF PINK STEM
BOERE BY INSECTISIDES

In field and laboratory trials carried out at Institute of sugarcane Research on
the efficacy of some insecticides against pink stem borer, Sesamia inferens Walker.
Sugarcane cutting (with pink stem borer larvae or pupae inside) were dipped in
solutions of 0,1% of Padan 95 SP, Lannate 40 SP and Vibasu 40 EC during 2 hours.
The results indicated that solution of 0,1% of Padan 95 SP and lannate 40 SP gave
over 50 and 60 % mortalities of larvae and pupae, respectively.
Padan 4 H at 60kg/ha applied in the soil at 60 days after growing provided poor
contol of pink stem borer. Its efficacy was in the range 25.8-36.3 and 36.1-51.4% at 14
and 21 days after application, respectively.
* Loài Sesamia inference Walker đã được xác định lại là loài Sesamia sp.
