failure modes were identified as under/over-annealing, and the effects of
the failure were identified. As a result of the study (Figure 1), areas with
high RPNs were examined and actions to prevent these occurring were put
into place. The RPNs were recalculated under revised conditions and
showed a dramatic fall.
