Extreme regime
The Extreme regime is represented in this figure for one of the propagated points. For 200 years of return period
a wave height of 5 meters is obtain, as is shown in the below picture:

In conclusion, knowing the predominant wave direction, the wave height for 200 years of return period and the
peak direction associated to this wave height is necessary for designing the port structures (rubble-mound
breakwater and vertical breakwater).
