4.3.5.1. Impacts on the transport network
Transporting huge quantities of construction material for the breakwaters, berths, operation, administrative and
welfare buildings, for land filling/development, storage and stacking yards and others, during the construction
phase, as well as transporting cargoes to/from the port during the port operation phase may result in excessive
use of existing public infrastructure like roads, railways and inland waterways, resulting in congestion and early
