4.3.5.1. Impacts on the transport network<br />

Transporting huge quantities of construction material for the breakwaters, berths, operation, administrative and<br />

welfare buildings, for land filling/development, storage and stacking yards and others, during the construction<br />

phase, as well as transporting cargoes to/from the port during the port operation phase may result in excessive<br />

use of existing public infrastructure like roads, railways and inland waterways, resulting in congestion and early<br />
