FEASIBILITY OF ANCILLARY INDUSTRIES Figure 82: Traffic Projections Creation of a major hub port also creates the opportunity to develop allied industries around the port. This would lead in creation of more jobs and will provide a major boost to the local economy. The possible industries include ancillary industries to support shipping activities, shipping related services and other industries that can develop in proximity to the port area.
