(1982). countermeasures against solvent abuse such as legislative efforts, public education, school and family guidance counseling, and psychiatric care have been employed, but they have had little effect on the problem thus far. A continued and expanded program is needed to aim at highlighting the seriousness <strong>of</strong> the solvent abuse situation. To accomplish this, integration <strong>of</strong> the activities <strong>of</strong> various facets <strong>of</strong> the community is essential. 133
