The majority <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> those subjects who used inhalants frequently claimed<br />

to have c<strong>on</strong>sumed “small amounts” <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the substance. On the other<br />

hand, few inhalant users have tried to stop their habit, and most<br />

inhalant users (88 percent) do not use other drugs.<br />
