It was observed that lifetime and past-year inhalant use was associated
with a lower level <strong>of</strong> urbanization. Those individuals living in urban
areas <strong>of</strong> 2,500-100,000 inhabitants were more likely to use inhalants than
individuals living in urban areas with populations over 100,000.
However, no statistically significant differences were found among the
levels <strong>of</strong> urbanization. When rates were adjusted for sex and region, the
differences remained (table 4).
