Los diferentes elementos que constituyen una red <strong>de</strong> telefonía celular GSM se clasifican en<br />

cuatro grupos fundamentales:<br />

– MSC (Mobile Switching Center).<br />

– GMSC (Gateway Mobile Switching Center).<br />

– VLR (Visitor Location Register).<br />

– HLR (Home Location Register).<br />

– AuC (Authentication Center).<br />

– EIR (Equipment I<strong>de</strong>ntity Register).<br />

4. NMC (Network Management Center).<br />

– OMC (Operation and Maintenance Center).<br />
