9 GPRS Commands
This chapter describes AT commands that a TE (Terminal Equipment, e.g.
an application running on a controlling PC) may use to control the C55
acting as GPRS Mobile Termination (MT). Please use chapter "Using
GPRS AT commands (Examples)" as a first guidance.
Command Description
The test command is used for requesting information on the
supported PDP context activation states. The read command returns
the current activation states for all the defined PDP contexts.
The write command is used to activate or deactivate the specified
PDP context(s). After the command has completed, the MT remains
in V.25ter command state. If any PDP context is already in the
requested state, the state for that context remains unchanged. If the
MT is not GPRS attached when the activation form of the command
is executed, the MT first performs a GPRS attach and them attempts
to activate the specified contexts. If no s are specified the
activation/deactivation form of the command activates/deactivates
all defined contexts. If the MT is not able to activate a context
because of a failed attach, command returns with "ERROR" or with
"+CME ERROR: unknown" after 385 seconds (timer T3310
expired).
If the MT is attached but is not able to activate a context for more
than 160 seconds (timer T3380 expired), command returns with
"ERROR" or with "+CME ERROR: unspecified GPRS error. In this
case AT+CEER returns "+CEER:51,3,0".
