Command <strong>Description</strong><br />
The test command returns the list of phone books for which <strong>AT</strong>ASPBC<br />
is supported, in the syntax used for phone book selection in <strong>AT</strong><br />
command <strong>AT</strong>+CPBS).<br />
The write command retrieves the first (lowest) index in the list of sorted<br />
phone book entries beginning with character .<br />
Parameter <strong>Description</strong><br />
(str)(+cscs)<br />
The character to be searched in the sorted list of phone book entries.<br />
Character coding and formatting according to the settings made with<br />
<strong>AT</strong>+CSCS. Search algorithms follow the sorting algorithms referenced<br />
in chapter 13.1.<br />
(num)<br />
The first (lowest) index number within the phone book memory<br />
selected with <strong>AT</strong>+CPBS for which the corresponding parameter<br />
starts with character . If no matching phone book entry is<br />
found, =0 will be returned.<br />
The index retrieved with <strong>AT</strong>^SPBC can be used only as an index for<br />
<strong>AT</strong>^SPBG. Do not use the listed index numbers to dial out or modify<br />
entries.<br />
13.6 <strong>AT</strong> ^ SPBD Purge phone book memory storage<br />
This command is used to purge the selected phone book <br />
manually, i.e. all entries previously stored in the selected phone book<br />
storage will be deleted. CAUTION! The operation cannot be stopped nor<br />
reversed!<br />
Automatic purging of phone books is performed when the SIM card is<br />
removed and replaced by a different SIM card. This affects the ME-based<br />
part of the "LD" storage, and storages "MC" and "RC". Storage "ME" is<br />
not affected.<br />
This command can be used only after the phone book data from the SIM<br />
have been read successfully for the first time. Reading starts after<br />
successful SIM authentication has been performed, and may take up to 30<br />
seconds depending on the SIM used. While the read process is in progress,<br />
an attempt to use any of the phone book commands will result in "+CME<br />
Error: 14" (SIM busy).<br />
