Function<br />
The MET148-2 module can be used to connect 8 temperature sensors (RTDs)<br />
of the same type:<br />
b Pt100, Ni100 or Ni1<strong>20</strong> type RTDs, according to parameter setting<br />
b 3-wire temperature sensors<br />
b A single module for each Sepam series <strong>20</strong> base unit, to be connected by one of<br />
the CCA770 (0.6 or 2 ft), CCA772 (2 m or 6.6 ft) or<br />
CCA774 (4 m or 13.1 ft) cords<br />
b 2 modules for each Sepam series 40 or series 80 base unit, to be connected by<br />
CCA770 (0.6 or 2 ft), CCA772 (2 m or 6.6 ft) or CCA774 (4 m or 13.1 ft) cords<br />
The temperature measurement (e.g. in a transformer or motor winding) is<br />
utilized by the following protection functions:<br />
b Thermal overload (to take ambient temperature into account)<br />
b Temperature monitoring.<br />
