Use UMI on front panel<br />

Presentation<br />

Basic UMI<br />

This UMI includes:<br />

b 2 LEDs indicating Sepam operating status:<br />

v green "on" LED: device on<br />

v red LED: device unavailable (initialization phase<br />

or detection of internal failure)<br />

b 9 parameterizable yellow LEDs, fitted with a<br />

standard label (with SFT2841, a customized label can<br />

be printed on a laser printer)<br />

reset<br />

b key for clearing faults and resetting<br />

b 1 connection port for the link with the PC (CCA783<br />

cord); the connector is protected by a sliding cover.<br />

Fixed or remote advanced UMI<br />

In addition to the basic UMI functions, this version<br />

provides:<br />

b A "graphic" LCD display for the display of<br />

measurements, parameter/protection settings, and<br />

alarm and operating messages.<br />

The number of lines, size of characters and symbols<br />

are in accordance with the screens and language<br />

versions.<br />

The LCD display retrolighting can be activated by<br />

pressing a key.<br />

b A 9-key keypad with 2 operating modes<br />

v white keys for current operation:<br />

display of measurements<br />

display of "switchgear, network diagnosis" data<br />

display of alarm messages<br />

resetting<br />

acknowledgment and clearing of alarms<br />

v blue keys activated in parameter and protection<br />

setting mode:<br />

access to protection settings<br />

access to Sepam parameter settings including date<br />
