Cumulative breaking current<br />
Operation<br />
This function indicates the cumulative breaking current in square kiloamperes (kA) 2<br />
for five current ranges.<br />
It is based on measurement of the fundamental component.<br />
The current ranges displayed are:<br />
b 0 < I < 2 In<br />
b 2 In < I < 5 In<br />
b 5 In < I < 10 In<br />
b 10 In < I < 40 In<br />
b I > 40 In.<br />
The function also provides the total number of operations and the cumulative total of<br />
breaking current in (kA)².<br />
Each value is saved in the event of a power failure.<br />
Refer to switchgear documentation for use of this information.<br />
Number of operation<br />
The function is activated by tripping commands (O1 relay).<br />
This value is saved in the event of a power failure.<br />
Readout<br />
The measurements may be accessed via:<br />
b the display of a Sepam with advanced UMI by pressing the key<br />
b the display of a PC with the SFT2841 software<br />
b the communication link.<br />
The initial values may be introduced using the SFT2841 software tool to take into<br />
account the real state of a used breaking device.<br />
