Access to data<br />
Access to measurements and<br />
parameters<br />
The measurements and parameters can be accessed<br />
using the metering, diagnosis, status and protection<br />
keys.<br />
They are arranged in a series of screens as shown in<br />
the diagram opposite.<br />
b The data are split up by category into 4 loops,<br />
associated with the following 4 keys:<br />
v key : measurements<br />
v key : switchgear diagnosis<br />
and additional measurements:<br />
v key : general settings<br />
v key : protection settings.<br />
b When the <strong>user</strong> presses a key, the system moves on<br />
to the next screen in the loop. When a screen includes<br />
more than 4 lines, the <strong>user</strong> can move about in the<br />
screen via the cursor keys ( , ).<br />
Protection and parameter setting modes<br />
There are 3 levels of use:<br />
b Operator level: used to access all the screens in read<br />
mode and does not require any passwords<br />
b Protection setter level: requires the entry of the<br />
first password ( key), allows protection setting (<br />
key)<br />
b Parameter setter level: requires the entry of the<br />
second password ( key), allows modification of the<br />
general settings as well ( key).<br />
Only parameter setters can modify the passwords.<br />
The passwords have 4 digits.<br />
