OPTIONAL SWITCH MACHINE AND LAYOUT SENSING KITA Switch Machine and Layout Sensing Kit is available from Alstom (P/N 59649-218-00)that can be used to detect point pressure at each point. It can be used during switchmachine installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting to verify the force generatedagainst the points when the switch machine is thrown. The kit includes a Clevis Pin,Portable Load Indicator, and a cable. For a procedure on use of this kit, see Table 3–15.Table 3–15.
