The finger must rest firmly on the stop.11 Crank the machine back toward midstroke until the movable finger justtouches the stationary finger.12 Verify that the screw (18) is not touching the underside of the finger (17). Ifthe screw does touch, bend the stop up until 0.020 inch clearance existsbetween the screw and the underside of the finger.13 Verify that both motor control contacts open between 0.170 inch and 0.200inch when normal or reverse contacts just make.
