Never tap the end of a rod with ahammer to force it to slide. Failure to lift the center yoke androllers before sliding the rods, or applying unnecessary forcewith a hammer can cause damage to the roller support pins oryoke casting.6 Verify set of rods previously nearer motor end of machine is now nearerwire-entrance end.7 Replace lugs and lock and adjusting nuts on solid-through lock and pointdetectorrods.8 Replace two clips on top of each set of lock rods.P1293, Rev.
