Make sure nogrease touches flat surface against which friction disc rides.11 Reassemble discs in clutch as follows:− First, a friction disc− Second, an inside steel disc− Third, a friction disc− Last, an outside discRepeat this sequence twice.12 Add discs on top same as were in clutch.13 Center discs by hand to allow shaft to be installed.14 Bolt bevel gear to the clutch body.15 Apply a thin film of grease on only upper part of shaft, extending no morethan 3/4-inch below bottom of gear on shaft.16 Insert shaft into adjusting nut, rotating shaft to align inside discs.
