Recycling Time Test ProcedureThis procedure must be performed in the sequence given.NOTERefer to your site Local Control Panel manual for information on theoperation of the control panel and to gain an understanding of how todetermine which auxiliary switches to use and what the various indicatorlights designate.Table 4–7. Recycling Time Test ProcedureStepAction1 Cycle the switch machines several times from the Local Control Panel (LCP)before testing, leaving the machines to be tested in reverse position. Referto your Local Control Panel manual for information on the procedures forchanging the switch positions.2 Call each switch machine, one at a time, to the normal position. Within 5seconds of indicating the switch is moving, the Indicators on the local controlpanel should be:N (Normal) - PositiveR (Reverse) - Negative3 Call each switch machine, one at a time, to the reverse (R) position andbegin timing. Within 5 seconds of indicating the switch is moving, theindicators for positions should be:N (Normal) - NegativeR (Reverse) - Positive4 Again, call each switch machine, one at a time, to the normal (N) positionand begin timing. Indicators for the positions should be:N (Normal) - PositiveR (Reverse) - Negative5 Repeat cycling action at least two more times if the cycling period is toolong.If specifications are not met during the cycling period, refer to Section 5,Troubleshooting.P1293, Rev.
