If sufficient clearance cannot be attained,remove the locknut and bolt holding the shorting link to the contact arm.This picture shows the shorting link of Models 5F and 5H.Shorting Link13 Remove the screw securing the cable tie to the main gear bracket andremove the cable tie, still retaining the wires.14 Remove the two screws, securing the cutout switch block to the frame.Remove the cutout switch block and carefully lay over same side of switchmachine housing as other switch.This picture shows the cutout switch block of Models 5F and 5H.15 Loosen and remove the four hex head screws securing the main gearbracket.Remove the main gear bracket, using caution not to damage the hand throwcutout switch arm.P1293, Rev.
