Theory of Operation2.5.9.1. <strong>Switch</strong> Operating RelayTable 2–1 shows the correlation between a switch call and the typical pick or drop of thenamed relay, with the switch machine moving its throw bar to the requested position.Certain relays (with an asterisk in the table below) will pick only if manually levered fromeither an emergency or central control panel.
