After all, The MelchizedekPriesthood was set up to offer sacrifices for the sins of humanity- in order to make them acceptable to God. Christ came as thatbody which God had prepared for the world’s sins (I John 4:14).It was after The Order of Melchizedek. Why wasn’t this “one”Priesthood of Melchizedek enough to restore Adam and Eve’schildren to God’s rest or paradise (Matthew 18:11)? Remember,God told Cain for him to be accepted, he had to master sin andrepent.
