He said there was noreason to fast while The Christ, The Bridegroom, was with them.He said after He would leave them, then, they could fast. Then,Christ said you cannot put new wine in old bottles, because thosenew bottles would explode. The two cannot function together.Jesus was letting them know His Disciples were under a New Covenant“teaching” which would not work with The Old Covenantteachings.
