370 God’s Workbe destroyed is death” (I Corinthians 15:26). In the light of thistext, it would be foolish to say something like, “death is destroyed- except for all the dead people lying around.” That would be absurd.Besides, it is a contradiction of terms. The only way thattext could be true is if all of the dead people were given life. Onthis basis, salvation is universal.Furthermore, according to this scripture if anyone is dead, thenChrist cannot turn over The Kingdom of God to The Father (I Corinthians15:24). Jesus must reign until death is gone! If, as somebelieve, this doesn’t include those in The Lake of Fire who aredestroyed, then this Scripture cannot be true, “…Death is swallowedup in victory” (Verse 54). The Greek word for “victory”is “nikos” meaning “a conquest” or “doing away with it.” That isthe full intent of the word “victory.” The word “swallow” in theGreek, is “katapino,” meaning “to drown” or “completely gulpdown,” or “to be gone” or “totally removed.” This victory carriesthe complete meaning for “nothing to be left.” Death can nolonger exist. No one can be dead or else there is no victory overdeath. This is very plain. It may be the reason why some erroneously believe that thosein The Lake of Fire will burn forever. But, that thinking is notbiblically true. These Bible statements mean what they say. Allthe dead are no longer dead. Read how all this happens in Isaiah45:21-25. You have already seen proof of how there are threeplaces in The Bible validating each and every person will bowtheir knees to Christ and repent. The prophecy reveals that eventhe incensed (angry toward God), and the wicked, will bow theirknees and confess. Who are these individuals? It applies to everyrace and tongue in the whole world. Twice Paul states that all willrepent (Romans 14:7-11 and Philippians 2:10-11). Yes, all willrepent, but how?
