276 God’s Workyou notice a sign is posted with the town’s name. Most towns and cities have a sign acknowledging that you havearrived in the district of that particular town or city. It is “themark” or “evidence” that the town begins at that point. If you were driving into God’s town, the sign would say “SeventhDay Sabbath.” That would be its beginning. Under the sign, itmay state how friendly the town is by welcoming you. This townmight announce that it is “where God’s people live in completerest.” So, The Seventh Day Sabbath is an extremely importanttime. It is when God reveals how He brings His people to salvationby procreating Sons and Daughters. There is no other dayof the week besides The Seventh Day that God made Holy. Anyhuman ideas that justify the observance of another weekly day asbeing The Sabbath is completely bogus. Unless you live by every“word” of God and not by humanly devised ideas, you are notobeying your Father. However, you may know what day of the week is God’s Sabbath, but how are you to keep it? Furthermore, what is a real Sabbatarian?Remember, you have read how The Sabbath is to be a signbetween God and His people. What kind of a sign is this? Youfind The Sabbath is a Day of rest. It is God’s Day of rest - just asHe rested in The Book of Genesis. But plainly, it is merely a signthat only God can sanctify or make Holy - as He is Holy. Manytimes you mistakenly read The Bible, and only take a part of itsmeaning. In this way, you can miss its entire purpose. In retrospect, you have found that the observance of The SeventhDay is accomplished by doing “no work.” However, if you, asChristians, observe The Seventh Day by doing no work, then realizethat God said this is only a sign.
